    Size of the house and the extent of the issue can alter the time required to complete the inspection.

    Our pricing structure consists of a base rate for the inspection, in addition to a fee for each lab sample taken. Typically, a comprehensive inspection of a 3-bedroom house may necessitate 10-15 samples. However, we understand the importance of working within your budgetary constraints, so we're more than happy to have a discussion about your budget and find a solution that aligns with your financial requirements.

  • Yes!

    Becuase the mould that you are seeing, could just be the tip of the iceberg and you need to know the full spread and extent of the issue.

    We would hate for you to remediate the visible mould, only for it to come back a short time later because you didn’t get to the root cause and deal with all of the hidden mould too.

    The report that The Mould Lady can give you is detailed and provides a road map fo a IICRC certified mould remediator to remediate your home.

  • The short answer is… No. Industry best practice is to obtain an independent mould inspection to assess the home prior to and post-remediation (aka post mould removal) so there is no bias.

    Choosing a remediator can be a tough process but The Mould Lady has you covered. We will refer you to a vetted mould removal provider suitable for you and your home.

    For a mould inspection, I will spend anywhere between 3-5 hours at your home. I learn about you and your home’s history and I get to the root cause of the mould or moisture issue in your home. I then prepare a detailed mould assessment report for you outlining the findings. This report will include detailed recommendations that may include mould removal but more than that. I will advise you on how to stop the moisture problem from returning.
